HOME BETA

hello ladies

there is a home beta testing coming out
and people get picked based on use of PSN activity
i think it includes use of the playstation store and online gaming


you have to download the HOME theme from the PSN Store to be included for testing criteria!!

i got an American account but never go on there. no chance of me getting it

i checked my email today and saw that i got a code for redeeming the HOME BETA on my USA account

I dont know if this will work but ill try it in the morning when i get home

if this works im gonna be on home all day tomorrow, cant wait for this shit

ill let you all know if it actually works or just my luck (and everyone in cXc) my code will be a duplicate and someone would of used it by now

OK i downloaded the Home Beta and it all worked
It was 85mb or something, it only worked on my US account

You start off in a changing room creating your character and then selecting clothing and accessories for the person

Then i ended up in the house (the one in the videos by the marina)
you can walk out onto the balcony, you can change the wallpaper of the place and add furnishings to it (all white at first)

I then walked out of the house from the door and you end up in the Central Plaza (download of 33mb) this is where you walk around the town and there were other people talking in groups all around the place
There is water in the middle and seats here and there, its very nice looking
There was a place with people dancing, i walked over and changed the song from a jukebox or machine and then i started dancing with em (you can select from various dance moves, some of em are funny)

From there i went to the Mall (31mb download) in here you can go and buy more clothing for yourself/furniture for your place/decoration for the house like statues and plants n shit/a shop was called STUFF for HOME (but it was empty as it was the beta)/there was a real estate that you can purchase housing in different locations, but in the beta there was only a FREE summer House so i got that.


From there i went to the Games Space (22.7mb download)
In here there were bowling alleys (hard to play)
Pool tables and 3-4 arcade games, but duplicate arcade machines of the same game around the place

Then outside there was a Theatre (9.2mb download)
This is a cinema showing trailers of games and stuff

Then i went back to my Summer House and checked it out (17mb download)
i furnished that with my free furniture from the furniture store in the mall, all black stuff

Then i went back to the central plaza and walked around. There are heaps of huge tv screens around the place just showing trailers of games and you can walk up to it and press full screen and view the trailers on your tv in full screen (of course)

Thats about it, i chatted to some people. Mainly from USA. some of Europe.

Its gonna be fukn mad once its fully operational, the menu system is a pop up PSP and the menu options are huge, you can start games from the psp pop up/invite your friends into your games/or see what games they are playing and join, all from the home inside menu.

i hope you guys get a chance to check it out man, i know some of us have been waiting heaps for this, sorry for the long review!

Sounds pretty cool , thanks for the review. October and November are going to be crazy. So many good games coming out, Just read about res2 co-op, can wait to play that with you guys.

its no big deal i guess, 4-5 buildings you can explore

i like it because it gives us a taste of whats to come and what it can be once everyone logs into it

a lot of ppl may be spending time in home..its like a live friends list.

our clan walking around, we will look for eab/es/TRU and bash em

at least that way we can beat em, since they are all young shits

What kind of a retard is going to go and just make his character dance around with others for ages?
Get a life, go outside and dance on the street
It's all good to see and try things, but i don't know, i think people will be bored of it all after a few times of seeing it
Maybe the Beta is too small and the real thing is hugeeeeeeee, but from the Beta, there wasn't much to do or see
But i guess at least i saw it hahaha
