a mix of both - it is a clan challenge, so it is official of sorts, but AUF aren't too hardcore, so it's also a freindly... hopefully we are pretty evenly matched, and can make this a regular clan-war... but don't worry, we aren't in it for bragging rights... we're not like EAB in that regard...

Sweet as, my mate might play if we have a few drop outs but he's only played online for about 2 hours. Be good to have regular games to.

yeah, for sure mate... just will be cool to work with your fellow-clan members, to try a beat another clan... but it's all in good fun... that goes for you guys too of course, should cXc win lol

we're all lookin forward to it, so hopefully we all have good connections...

I know I'm looking forward to it and think it should be great fun. As for the rules.... well we haven't really stated anything like that... I played with a few of the AUF guys the other night and didn't see anyone using the grenade launcher and I know none of you guys use it so we shouldn't have to worry about it

i was playing around with the launcher the onther nite... 'tis good fun, but is that the one and only rule then dane?

well I guess that's as much up to your clan as it is ours.... maybe in the lobby we can see what everyone thinks about it

I even got abused the other night (not by AUF, he was a yank) for using the uzi! So i switched weapons (m16) and specifically targeted that dude to piss him off. And it worked!

What about Martydom?

yeah, make the point in the lobby, and everyone will abide... most of our dudes hate dudes that use it - I didn't help the matter the other night... I only use it until I unlock the red dot anyway...

like I mentioned, I'll have no mic, but will listen in... our guys will abide, all pretty cool...

I'm personally fine with any weapon/perk; martyrdom and grenad launcher and rocket launcher - none of them bother me... but I'll abide to no grenade launcher... I reckon, martyrdom is fine tho...

Can we have spectators in the game?
What if the spectators decide to spy on the other team, if that's possible?
Walking around the map and seeing where the other team is and reporting it..
I don't know how these games work, as like most of you guys, i've never played in a clan challenge

spectators can't be heard on the coms by any teams, same as when you die off in S&D games

spectators are fine, but not spying - that would ruin it... only spectate your own team...

Yeh i know that, but people can talk on phone to eachother

I'm just joking anyway man, this clan challenge isn't anything serious anyway, it's both our first challenge.
Just to get us all started.

I hope my headset works though, last night it wasn't working properly, i could hear you Dane, but no-one else.

so the combined match types and maps work out to the following:

game 1 - Team Deathmatch on Backlot
game 2 - Headquarters on Crash
game 3 - Domination on District

if you guys are hosting, you could add me (kobeson) around 8:15 if you like, and I can add the other AUF guys. I won't be playing the first match, but will be spectator to log the results.

we are all ready and looking forward to the challenge!

hey cXc, disco here from AUF, just dropping by to say looking forward to tonight should be a good battle hehe. I've had scrface74 on my list for a while before I joined AUF, just wondering if he is participating? He's a top bloke!

Are both clans open to naming their starting lineup for both battles? I'm in soccer mode LOL.

I can see we both havent been on fifa for a while!, Just letting all my fellow claln members know disco was/is a gun on fifa 08 and he's just as good on cod, he has owned me quite a few times, but then again thats not hard to do!

haha all these games I bet I will seee you on battlefield! We can meet in the middle for a coffee then run back our seperate ways and start the war LOL.

I played FIFA for about an hour after I got it - but it hasnt made it out of the box since I got COD4!!! lol (I am *completely* crap at FIFA!)

good game last night guys.. i was only there for the last match in pipeline.. became more of a team tactical since it was like 3 v 3 lol

hey cXc boys, great fun last night - connection issues aside, it was one of the better sessions I've had on COD4 for a while I reckon. Competing against you guys was really intense.
I say, we set this up again sometime, if you guys are interested, and next time we just hope more guys are able to show up.
Dane - did you say some guys just could not connect to my server? Hinzy invited me like 25 times - and vice versa... I wonder what caused this to happen...
Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we all did, and maybe we can organise it for another night.
I'll keep you on my list dane75 and HINZY too.
